Sarah’s Dance Academy invites dancers and parents to join us for our 2024 Summer Dance Season. We are delighted to begin our Nineteenth Summer Dance Year. Summer 5-week classes will run June 17 through July 26 (No Classes week of July 4th ). Summer Camps will run throughout the Summer, beginning June 24 and running through August 19.

​​FROZEN DANCE CAMP
June 24 & 25
Come explore with Anna, Elsa, Olaf and all of the Frozen friends! Your little one will have a chilling blast as we explore with dance, songs, crafts, storytelling, reenacting, dress-up, and more! Dress as your favorite Frozen character each day. Dancers will showcase what they learned for their parents on the last day
of camp (last 10 minutes).
Ages 3 to 6 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm

​​SUMMER SAMPLER CAMP
JULY 15 - 17
Summer Sampler Camp is a great way for dancers to try out each style of dance, as well as a few specialty classes, for a great price. Students will learn short routines in Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. This is one of our most talked about programs we offer, so register early as space is limited. Groups will be split up by age and skill level. Please see the information below for more details. If you’re new to Competitive Troupe Team, please make plans to attend this camp. All Troupe Team members and/or Competitive Soloists must attend this camp.
Ages 5 to 10 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm

​​BALLET INTENSIVE CA​MP
JULY 29 - 31
This camp focuses on ballet technique, building flexibility and strength, center floor combinations, and conditioning, as well as learning body lines and body awareness. The extra attention to technique and detail often advances the skill of the dancers much faster than regular dance. This is the Camp for both beginners and advanced dancer, to help them keep up on their technique in the summer. Elite Troupe Team members and Competitive Soloists, Duets and Trios must attend this camp. Highly recommended for all Competitive dancers.

UNICORN & DRAGONS ENCHANTMENT CAMP
JULY 25
Does your child love Unicorns, Dragons, and all things Magical? If so, this is the perfect camp for them. Come explore a world of mythical magic and epic enchantment in this Unicorn and Dragon themed dance camp. This camp will be filled with magical fun in movement, storytelling, unicorn horns, and fire-breathing dragons. Dancers will learn a short routine and make a craft.

MAGICAL MERMAIDS AND PIRATES
JULY 8
Meet us under the sea for our Mermaid and Pirate Adventure Day Camp. We will be exploring our Jazz and Hip-Hop favorites as we search for hidden treasures. Plus, it wouldn’t be Mermaid and Pirate camp without Bubbles, free dance, and an ocean-themed craft. “Sea” you ashore!

SUPER HERO CAMP
JULY 15
Have you ever dreamed of being Super Hero for a day? Do you wish you had Super Powers? Your dream can come true at Super Hero Camp. Be prepared to learn a Hip-Hop Dance routine and act as your favorite Super Hero. We will make a craft that will take the experience from make-believe to reality. We will be including an obstacle course and an end show for Parents. Space is limited.

BARBIE CAMP
JULY 22
Come on, Barbie, let’s go party! Join us this summer in a Barbie world. Campers will experience learning a fun, upbeat jazz routine, make a craft, and walk the red carpet. All as they prepare for their mini performance at the last 10 minutes of class.
Dress in your Barbie or Ken-wear.

ACRO GYMNASTICS CAMP
AUGUST 5
This camp will get kids moving like never before. They’ll experience gains in their strength, endurance, balance, flexibility, and power. Gymnasts of all levels, from beginners to advanced, experience the thrill of learning new skills and mastering old ones. Our experienced, highly qualified staff works with small groups to identify individual strengths, teach proper technique, and help campers reach their highest potential. Bring a friend to maximize the FUN. Space is limited!

TikTok DANCE CAMP
AUGUST 5
Times, they are a ticking… TikTok, TikTok. Come learn the internet’s hottest TikTok Dances. We will learn and break down the dances we see online, and then learn how to do them. We will also create our own SDA TikTok Dance by the end of this camp.

POM DANCE CAMP
AUGUST 19
This fun-filled Camp focuses on the isolating of the body with sharp movements. In this class, you will learn a pom-pom routine and techniques in leaps, turns, and jumps, along with pom-pom skills. Students will also participate in fun drill-down command games and make memorable arts and crafts to take home.

TROLLS CAMP
July 29
Dancers will have a blast dancing to all of the Trolls music, dressing like a Troll for a day, and creating that oh so funky hair. Each day dancers will experience crafts, games, and dancing. Our summer dance camp will encourage creativity, learning, and fun for your child.

MINION CAMP
JULY 29
Join us for this truly despicable day of dancing and fun! Minions are on the loose and causing all kinds of mayhem in our Dance Studio. Dancers will learn a dance, make a craft, and play games all inspired by Bob and his yellow buddies. Dancers should bring a snack and a water bottle to camp. We will have a mini performance
during the last 10 minutes of class.

Wish upon a falling star!
